If someone was good enough to give me a ticket for an event because he couldn't go, and then informed me that his prior arrangement had been cancelled, he wouldn't even have to ask for the ticket back. I would offer it immediately. 100%
The sooner we get eyeball scanning introduced on the turnstiles, the better. No wonder we can't afford any players...
Me too. But if I'd been the one who gave the ticket to someone else, I would never ask for it back, nor even make the recipient uncomfortable by making it known that I could now attend the event. The noble thing to do is to accept that you have treated someone else, and that's it.
DEETEE - brilliant suggestion - I think not - she's a doppelganger for Ann Widdecombe - wouldn't know which end to start at.
Absolute rubbish. He was borrowing the season ticket for one day and that doesn't make it his property.
Hes refusing to give it back. Ya know we all think cos summat seems right, it is right, well id just like to say things can get very unpleasant, even this simple. Call the police wot r they gunna do, it doesnt constitute as being a police matter. They'll just say go to court. When you give someone something lend it, borrow it, woteva and they refuse to return it how the f=== r you gunna get it back. We know and understand hes been deprived, of wots his but hows he gunna get it back. A GIFT thats all his ex mate has to say .
It would be a direct breach of the theft act 1968 actually. The card is none transferable so CANT be given away as a gift
