It’s going to be be so crucial the appointment of the new manage. I think we need experience , even if it’s until the end of the season. Hopefully we will hear something from the club before the weekend. We all need to get behind the lads at the weekend. U reds
Experience. We’re lacking in confidence and on a terrible run, the complete wrong time for a lower league punt.
We need someone willing to take a risk to win games, rather then setting up for a draw and hopefully nick a win, he needs to be able to get the balance right between defending and attacking, motivation of the players is a must, as is the understanding of the tactical side of the game, I want Him to be able to produce an attack minded hard working team on the pitch every game , I don’t care what experience he as if he can do the above .
Yeah I'd lean towards experience even if it is just a 6 month deal and look at it again in the summer.
Someone experienced on a short term contract to get us to safety, but then someone for the long term starting in the summer.
but not experienced in France, Spain, Gemany China, Rumania or anywhere else. Got to know all about english football
Might experience of leagues about not be advantageous if we are planning on signing a lot of players from outside the UK
an experienced manager for me who knows all about this league. Mick would be brilliant, but i cant see it. Grayson i dislike, but think he could do a decent job here. we've been down the route of lower league managers and its rarely worked for us. Paul Tisdale would be my choice if we did go down that route however.
That assumes BFC has the players capable of doing that. I guess tiem will tell if he was holding them back or not.
What about considering the Ryan giggs/ Paul Scholes type , no real managerial experience as such but oozing quality & knowledge of the game plus a list of contacts within the game a mile long , just a thought not a proposal
