The problem here dreamboat is that you are getting that she is a person. A person who will be absolutely traumatised right now because children have died because of her. Obviously they haven't died because of her but if it wasn't for her then they wouldn't have been there so you know what I mean I hope.

The comparison to WWE isnt right either imo. Ariana Grande was targeted, her fans were targeted at her concert. She was caught up in it and will have heard the bang, seen the panic and no doubt her security will have rushed her away very quickly which would be extremely scary to experience. The WWE on the other hand weren't involved at all, they weren't targeted. They simply happened to be hosting an event in the same city.

I agree with Supertyke here - she is a young lady who must be absolutely devastated that one of her performances finished with her fans being killed and injured. She was scheduled to play again on Thursday - I can quite see why she has postponed the next performances.

A better analogy to the WWE one is for Simple Minds who have a gig tonight in a different Manchester Venue - they did perform

Off duty female Police officer confirmed as one of the dead in yesterday's bombing.
Police now looking for a bomb factory and others involved. Last count four arrests.
Reading earlier over 3,000 jihadists in UK and 850 have been to Middle East and returned.
This latest terrorist is British born but his Dad is currently in Libya. The local Imam says he stopped attending the Mosque
because his preachings criticised IS. Abedi was recently seen in the street chanting in Arabic, had grown a beard and displayed a Syrian/ISIS flag outside his home.
We are not born radicalised. The future has to be concentrated on education and community cohesion surely.
Is it time ( if we know there are 3,000 ) to start taking them off the street or start deporting them knowing that there are groups
(Whalley Grange is one) actively supporting extremism, jihad and indiscriminate acts of violence against peaceful citizens.?

He should have been picked up solely for displaying the ISIS flag if that's true

Lets hope they are picking up the right people (though the word people is probably wrong in this context as if they are involved they dont belong in any civilised society)

I get what you're saying just a shame evil have got what they wanted with disruption. Good gesture from her to pay for the funerals but going to see her injured fans in hospital would have meant more. Time and effort from a multi millionaire rather than just cash. Government should have questions to answer how they knew of him but he was free to do what he did and how he could leave the country, train to do what he did and come back.

A lot of questions will have to be answered. Border forces should be better staffed & anyone travelling from middle eastern countries
should be scrutinised more. There is a danger of scapegoating people, but law abiding people should respect the increased security.
Hopefully we can keep working closely with our European partners in this respect.

Depressing in the news today that Trump has agreed more trade deals, many of them involving arms, to the Saudi regime, who are
funders of many terrorist organisations, like IS, via their radical Wahhabism.

Good to read. His local Imam said he stopped going to his Mosque because of their anti ISIS message. That now begs the question did the Imam tell his local police this.

Several locals have said they reported their suspicions but to their knowledge they don't know if he was seen.
One woman said when Gadaffi died a large flag with strange writing on it was hung from their family home.
Because she didn't know what the writing meant she didn't report it.
Some time later someone in authority called at the property and told the family to take it down.
At this stage they can't say whether it was the Syrian flag or whether it was that of IS.

How the hell can anybody struggle to tell the difference between a multi coloured flag and a black Isis rag?

The neighbours is a strange one but i'm on about his local Imam. He knew someone no longer went to his mosque because they were promoting an anti ISIS message the bomber didn't like and yet it appears this piece of big information wasn't passed on to the local authorities unless I have missed it somewhere. If someone you know doesn't like the peaceful message you're trying to promote in a place of worship then you should make that person known just incase they go too far, which was the case here.

Extract I saw reads " Friends and neighbours said Abedi appeared to be a normal football mad teenager who was a massive
Man Utd fan and spent hours playing computer games on the PS4.
Everything changed when his Dad Ramadan left to fight in Syria in 2011 leaving his job and family to fend for themselves.
According to the local Imam Abedi and his brothers appear to have followed in their fathers footsteps by sharing stories of British jihadis fighting in Syria on social networks sites and by openly praying in the street.
Abedi and the family were well known at the mosque just a few minutes away from their £150k home.
Local sources have said local Prevent officers had tried to engage with Abedib but he refused to cooperate.
The contact said Salman Abedi is a troublemaker that is the understanding we have from the local community.
He is a loose Cannon someone who is troubled.
The Didsbury Mosque Imam Mohammed Saeed revealed that Salman Abedi stopped going to the Mosque in 2015 as he objected to the anti-IS comments. He said he wasn't particularly friendly when he came and showed the face of hate.
He then came less and less."

To be fair Peachy selling arms to the Saudis isn't the big issue. The money that these countries throw into Mosques and schools is.

The arms we sell to Saudi are used in Yemen, Syria and other places around the region. Some are sold or passed on to ISIS and other groups. We are indirectly arming the enemy.
