The rules for ticket prices for FA Cup are different this season. The clubs do not have to agree pricing, it's down to the home club.
The pricing is fixed at the start of each round, therefore Barnsley are having to use categories set by Blackpool.
There will therefore be winners and losers in some categories.
    But it's not Barnsley's fault !!!

That all depends on the Retirement plan you have in place tbh.
You can't compare everyone with your circumstances ,
I know lots of lower paid people who have retired are very grateful for some of these benefits .
It can be the difference of being sat in house or having a life for some.

I've no problem at all with discounts and concessions for retired people, I just think 60 is a bit on the young side, that's all.

True. Once again it's becoming apparent I've no idea what I'm talking about. But thanks for pointing out that I'm ancient!

its just I was looking online for the replay details, date etc, and I noticed I qualified for a concession ( wuhoooo a bonus at last for being an old knacker) and just wondered if that applied to my NEXT seasons, season ticket, I was 60 last October and have had a season ticket for 20 years

Right, I don't have my own house at the moment due to divorce and when I do I'll have a 5-year £35,000 mortgage (over £600 a month repayment). I work for a software company on £25,000 and get a pension income of about £8,000. Yes mate really well-off I am.

At 60 you get free prescriptions and cheaper glasses etc. They do that for a reason.

My dad has a Leeds season ticket and has got an OAP rate since he was 60, as that's Leeds' policy.

When he buys away tickets, they automatically send an OAP ticket, even though some clubs' policy is 65. He's not been stopped yet - and his 65th birthday is next week - but there really ought to be a standard age across the league.
