Adam Murray. We had at least some shape today and kept them pretty quiet except for one or two spells. Today was a game we needed a couple older heads to settle things down and take our time a bit more, lots of snatching passes and shots, and general over eageredness to do everything at a million miles an hour. 1 win in our last 14 matches. We just aren't beating anyone in this league, top middle or bottom. We should have a really good side in L1 next year though (even minus Mowatt and Woodrow)
I hope he gets the job,not just based on today’s performance but surely it’s better to have someone who knows the players and English football than some foreign coach who will take weeks to get to know the squad and might not have a clue about the championship and how hard it is
I wouldn't be giving Murray the job based off today. After the next two games we should have a better idea about him. Telling for the likes of Green, Jordan Williams, Thiam and Pinnilos who were all missing from the 18.
We have dropped to bottom of the league under him so I wouldn't rush into anything! Swansea were poor and their striker was candy floss. Another team would have worried our defence more. 2 points dropped imo with the number of chances we created.
They were second in the table before kick off so to say another team would have caused us more problems seems a bit harsh. Wish we had taken a couple of our chances though
Ayew is a quality striker. Perhaps not at his best yet, but you could see he was menacing and chased a lot. Love him at Oakwell.
