If it was before 1918 people were probably fighting to vote AGAINST the T****s.

You can be sure I'll vote for whoever I want to and not be told by some anti democratic bigot. If you want social and political facism then there's a few religious fundamentalisr sects ready to sign you up.

Get a grip, I said the other day the best thing that could happen in this election would be a hung parliament as the thought of either may or corbyn let loose on their own is a scary thought.

Cuts to vital public services like the NHS

Allowed the rich to get richer while nurses, police officers etc have to go to food banks

Not managed to cut the deficit despite the above cuts

There's a few to start with.

If you vote Tory on the 8th then remember this you are taking £200 winter fuel off the old aged pensioners, you are putting a bill of around £30,000 on the young that go to university, you are keeping 10,000 more police off the streets, every man woman and child will be hit with this austerity for another 5 years at least, you will allow the detestable Hunt to demolish the NHS as we know it, since 2010 our health service workers (nurses) have only had a 1% rise year on year if you think that's OK then your a person of low values, I could go on but I'll not because just thinking about it makes me sick to the stomach.

Same with teachers, pay freeze/cap for 7 years in a row. The 1% rise isn't even guaranteed, it's linked to performance and Heads have been secretly advised to not allow at least 10 percent of their teachers to receive it to show Ofsted that they are taking perfomance related pay seriously and not just giving everyone it. Two teachers at my last school were refused it (including one of my friends) last year and they've chosen a different two this year to spread it out.

    Typical Spoiled Tory reaction imo.
Kick people from pillar to post and as soon as the truth and critism is aired condemning them start bairning about why everybody hates them.

Are you having a laugh . Police officers going to food banks? Stop reading the mirror and get out in the real world . I know a few coppers and they certainly don't need food banks . Proper banks maybe .

Do you know police officers who work in London or the south east? We don't get many at the one I volunteer at in Sheffield (though the majority are in work). Our sister organisations darn sarf report regular use by all public sector workers police included.

My daughter goes to university and accepts that she shouldn't expect anyone else to pay for HER education. She also said that absolutely none of her friends ever mention the uni debt . Its just her debt and no-one else's.

I don't necessarily believe university education should be free but 9 grand a year? What justification is there for that? And they won't mention it until they start earning a decent wage and have to actually start paying it back, likely for the rest of their lives.

University tuition fees are interesting. Given that the government in one hand says we expect only a minority to pay them off by the are budgeting for them to be paid off in full you are creating a massive time bomb that you are not addressing in any way.

They make them so high on purpose, and recently changed the way interest is calculated on them, so that they are guaranteed a continued source of income (sort of how charities would rather you pay annually by direct debit, rather then do a one off lump sum). They would hate it if people paid them back quickly as they'll make a lot more off people who pay the exact percentage required each month.

See how they tried to be sneaky about that a few years ago by trying to go back on a promise to raise thresholds: http://blog.moneysavingexpert.com/2...0.1793920898.1496595043-1275371389.1493043735
