    Agree with some pundits that a strong and stable woman will be needed in the Brexit negotiations
    Unfortunately for us that woman would appear to be Angela Merkel.!

    The Winter fuel allowance will be retained, but means tested, which imho is fair. As for 1% rise. I received a mere three percent over eight years in the private sector under Labour with higher inflation, so my heart bleeds for them. The coffers were left empty by the last Labour Government, and five years of the commie leadership of the present leadership, will leave the country bankrupt, full of Islamic nut cases, with the Pound probably worth about 90 cents.

    The empty coffers still had another trillion or so in them for this government to spend...

    Maybe I was lucky, but my pay increased by roughly £20k from 1997 to 2010 - although it would have been £10k more if I hadn't been made redundant in 2006 - mostly through changing jobs - although I did get 3 promotions along the way.

    We'll be lucky in the pound is worth 90cents with a cliff-edge no deal Brexit as suggested by Mrs May.

    The winter fuel allowance will be only available to those on pension credits. This means 9/10 will lose it or 10 million pensioners.

    We all know where the magic money tree is its where Amber Rudd and May keep their money the Cayman and Bahamas just need to open its branches to the rest of us.

    The state of education in this country is very concerning when someone can't tell the difference between a centre left government and communism. Pretty much all policies in the Labour manifesto are currently being done in Europe's biggest economy Germany. Or are you just suggesting we are inferior to Germany?

    And the German government under the leadership of Frau Merkel and the CDU is centre-right..
