was poor today .. got into some great positions but delivery wasn't up to scratch. Remember being told at school to pull the ball back when you get to the byline - too many crosses played square which made it easier to defend.
Plenty of plus points - defended well again and Scowen was immense again - next few games will be tough

Most balls were shocking today tbh not just the final one we couldn't pass for toffee nor trap a bag of cement.
Early days though players panning in and getting g to know others ,we will come good with Hecky in charge and our fantastic coaching staff COYR

Definitely the final ball was poor on several occasions. The difference between creating good chances and not. Not sure their keeper made a save all game though we did give him a couple of scares.

Game was a 0-0 if we had played another 90 minutes

Full backs were poor, final ball was poor. So many long balls that bradshaw or Armstrong never stood a chance! Poor all around.

Needed to be more clinical going forward but still pretty encouraging all round. Thought it was two even teams who will both end up mid-table. Think when Mowatt comes back he'll give us a bit more creativity in midfield, but having James in for the next two games might not be the worst thing

Poor game but it's a new team gelling together so only to be expected. We need both Jones and Elder to improve by a fair margin and quickly.

Think Jones has been decent tbh and Yiadom will be back next week anyway and will come in for Elder
