    Against non-league/League Two opposition?

With our best defender sold and our second best apparently soon to be on his way, these are worrying signs. Interesting that Kevin Long made only four appearances for Burnley last season, and is still only 26. Any chance do we think?

Only 3 teams conceded more goals than us last season. I reckon Lindsay will be better than Robbo.

You could look at it that way, or you could also say we're struggling for strikers but have scored 4 goals in 2 games.

    They're just friendlies.

Goal difference has taken a hit. Also disappointed we didn't come away with 3 points today.

I can only speak for myself and personally I'll be patient with all our new lads. A couple of years ago, there were plenty making derogatory comments about our then new signings Roberts, Mawson & Watkins during the friendly matches and early league games. One poster in particular I seem to remember said he thought Watkins was exceptionally poor and he was willing to drive him back up to Scotland himself.
I've no idea at this moment whether none or all of our new signings will make the grade at this level. But I trust Hecky and if Paul believes these players are good enough for us, then that's more than good enough for me.

Didn't we put a bunch of kids in defence just before conceding the second one today?
