This is what i've heard on the grapevine. Apparently Jose likes his quotes. And one containing a line about what noise do cats make when they want milk (meow) was relayed to the players. After this, being the cheeky chappy from Liverpool that Hammill is, he continued to say meow everytime he passed Jose. Obviously, Jose doesn't like being ridiculed or maybe he is quite a strict coach which is probably a good thing.
