France to be added to UK quarantine countries Off to France on Sunday. Bloody hell, my second quarantine in 2 months. Due back to Blighty at the end of September. Suspect that'll be the hat-trick.
I just finished one yesterday - nobody called me. Maybe another one on my return next month from Poland, Germany and Holland. Is that worth a six week sentence I wonder??
Depends how quickly Macron responds but he's been pretty clear about reciprocity so I can't imagine he'll hang about.
I've been predicting Saturday so I'm not surprised but I can't really go sooner so never mind. I didn't want to go anywhere anyway, just to the French house. The two weeks at the other end of the trip will be more of a problem as I was supposed to be heading straight up to your neck of the woods. Gonna have to come up with a plan B for that one.
New Covid cluster outbreaks seem to be randomly popping up around Scotland. Aberdeen Glasgow Orkney among the infected areas. Lockdowns might be more common soon. Awkward situation mate. Can’t see you avoiding 2 weeks isolation where ever you go.
That's the worry. Plan A involves weekly travel between Northants and Glasgow throughout October and November. That's A for Optimism. We can worry about the spelling later.
Wasn't the Orkney outbreak traced back to someone who'd been out around Aberdeen and gone back on the ferry?
Yes I know but we are arriving by ferry Monday morning and heading East, and not returning for three weeks. Who knows where we will be by then??
Didn't Hadrian build a wall which would have been useful to lock Scotland down.. Remember going on a field trip from school. Hours on a bus to see nothing more than a poorly maintained dry stone wall. Could have just gone down the road to see a dry stone wall.
This dude has been peddling his silly opinions for a few weeks now. So he expects those coming home from France to quarantine without sick pay. How does he expect them to pay bills? All they will do is risk it by going straight back to work. This from the same guy who had a go at work from home last week even though he's in Marbella.
Yeah, there's that too. I'm in East Northants so might get away with a Northampton lockdown. Then again, Kettering wasn't doing great a little while ago either. Not a good time to be trying to keep plates spinning in 3 countries.
Yes you are correct Scoff along with a couple of other cases in Shetland. This virus seems to be just so easy to catch. Just got to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Unfortunately Hadrian’s is entirely in England so not that useful. But we have Nicola to make sure all roads are shut and to keep unwanted Tory holidaymakers out.
In July, Leicester saw 1,336 cases but only seven people were admitted to hospital with Covid-19. Who's knows where the next local lockdown will be.
