Not sure where the nearest one is to tarn but they've been doing a few cheap deals recently. This weekend they are doing 50% off meals plus a free cocktail. If you go for the cheapest meal option (burger/hotdog & chips, spaghetti etc.) then you can get a meal and a drink for less than £4. They did the deal for Halloween and had a choice of fun cocktails or a mocktail which all came with spooky sweets, the drinks aren't as great this time but it's still a cheap way to go out for a sit down meal (cheaper than a McDonald's extra value meal). You need a voucher for the 50% off (available from website or app) and you just ask for the drink.
Just checked on their site, one at Stairfoot and one at Cortonwood. There's loads here in Leeds so we went to a different one each night over Halloween. It didn't say you could only do the deal once but we didn't want to appear too cheeky! I hope it's not a sign that they are struggling though, they never used to do deals over a weekend. It's been quite nice to go again, drinks had got so expensive it had become a rare treat for us.

This sounds a very good deal, though I find them generally to produce pretty average chain-pub standard food at inflated prices normally. The cocktails are, like tgi fridays, very good but quite dear normally too. Might look into this
I find they vary a lot from place to place. The one nearest to me does fantastic food but my god they are slow at serving (very friendly and attentive staff though). You need to allow at least an hour and a half there even if you only get a main course. I've been to others where the food is pretty standard but the service is faster and I've been to ones that are somewhere inbetween. The main reason I go though is probably for the atmosphere, I love the music they play and I just always feel relaxed and happy when I am there. At under £4 you can't go wrong really, even if you just drank the cocktail!
Does anyone where Frankie & Benny's is in tarn? Heard a rumour that there might be one at Stairfoot and Cortonwood but I might have got it wrong?!
Allus get vouchered up and go in the airport. Last time we went we got 5 breakfasts, a few drinks and chilled out for an hour for about £50. Used to spend that on a bone dry sarnie and crisps a piece.
There's one on Doncaster Road I think. If you leave tarn as if you're heading to Ardsley, you go up hill then down hill past Kendray. At the bottom of the hill the road becomes a dual carriageway. Now watch out for a huge roundabout. Frankie and Benny's is on the left before the roundabout. There's another one too somewhere near tarn. If I find out where it is I'll post it on here.
I ate at Frankie and Benny's at Meadowhall and must admit found the food to be low quality. Might as well pick up a sandwich from M&S.
They're doing it again for Thanksgiving. 2 for 1 mains and free cocktails. Also, if you reply on this thread saying something you like about F&B they are sending everyone a voucher. They just sent me a £25 voucher that's valid for a year.
