I've been critical in the past, but thought he was excellent tonight. Everything he does is positive, a great team player and a tireless worker.
Agreed; I thought that was Frieser's best 60 minutes so far, and was even disappointed when he came off. I have to say though that his replacement Victor really played his part, and looks so improved from last season. Remember the way he fought back for the ball back midfield, drove forward, passing the ball through to Connor Chaplin and did so much to help create our second goal. Victor in that moment epitomised the fighting spirit of this team.
Some refs would have given a foul for that brilliant tackle by Victor. The whole move was just superb
Definitely one his best performances for us, last night. I know it was given offside, but the chip over the keeper was a great effort. I watched the highlights back and he looked in line with their left-back.
Starting to look a lot more mobile, when earlier in the season he looked like he was dragging a piano whenever he ran. Was touch and go whether he was offside, but it was an excellent finish.
