Saw stewards piling into Away stand at half time, mate said they'll have done a Man Utd. Turns out he was right.
Tossers. Why do some people think that they can behave so appallingly just because they're at a football match.
That's a good thread because it shows them to be just like other clubs including ourselves where the vast majority are decent fans who don't condone the small minority of idiots who get themselves noticed when they can't handle their beer. Hopefully there will be grassed up by those who know them and plenty of videos were taken for the police to shift through and make some arrests. Would hate for a few dozen idiots to ruin future ticket alocations for the rest who wanted a good day out supporting their club that's doing superbly well and today were one of the very best clubs to come to us this season.
Re: That Dave, what a lad eh? Absolute sickos , but where is the protection for the staff . Is it gonna be we'll learn from this rolled out again , that's twice now BFC you have put staff in danger.
hopefully huddersfield will do the right thing and pay for the damage. who knows, the FA might even step in.
Problem is when some people pay a entry fee at a sporting event they think it gives them the right to act like morons. One question is where were south Yorkshires finest when all this went on?? Hopefully they is CCTV on the away concourse and these people are found and prosecuted.
Plenty of police in riot gear standing in groups between the stadium and the bus station. Two strategically placed in the North Stand concourse would have stopped all that hooliganism and robbery.
Yep ,they think that because there's a few thousand they are all like minded and are immune from the law , which in the majority of cases they are as although a few will be caught more will be let off and some lesser or even innocent will be targeted , Some cynics would say it's to keep the coffers flowing but not I. One things for sure though the innocents who pay through the turnstiles and staff who are working for a company to serve them are definitely inclined to safe passage and once again all concerned including BFC and SYP have failed, hope it's nothing to do with finance.
Funny thing is when we went to Huddersfield our supporters were complained about by town for letting a smoke bomb off and we were warned by the slo and told that they were working with Huddersfield to find the culprit. While I'm not condoning this it hardly crime of the century. But it seems fine for opposing fans to come to oakwell climb on the steel beams act like idiots and post videos of it on social media. Throw flares on the pitch like leeds did which landed close to adam davies and now smash the away catering kiosk up and steal the ale putting the staff in danger. What are the club doing about this?? Could the SLO get back to me please.
Just after the metropolitan police bring to justice the morons from Millwall who attacked the Reds fans at Wembley in front of the most sophisticated CCTV camera system in the world, the location of their original seats known, and the first hand evidence of the magnificent stewards who did their best to protect the innocent. Don't hold yer breath, they're all busy videoing everything without actually protecting who they're paid handsomely to protect
Went to read the thread some more and it's been locked. Other threads about it including one with an Huddersfield Examiner link about what happen have been locked also. Shame really because it shouldn't be trying to be forgotten.
http://www.examiner.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/shameful-scenes-beer-stolen-during-12664436 there is the examiner article fans describe it as kicking their way into the kiosk stealing beer.. stewarding poor and police non existent sounds about right stewards too busy In ponty checking people are sat in right seats for a east day. I have raised it with Bondy the slo so hopefully he will get some answers.
Barnsley fans guilty of association....lol.. Thats what the FA will say...Clubs fault for not policing it right....mark my words nothing will get done at the FA head quarters until some poor soul gets killed... They are happy to take their cut but not interested in finding a solution, to the problem.. You need not look any further than Millwall and Wembley for proof that they do not care ...and thus turn a blind eye They are so handy at dishing out trivial fines at times but wont do any thing that could effect their cash cow......poor crowd control equals easy cash cow money unless it needs the FA to investigate anything that is not in the referees report.....then the blind eye is taken...in my opinion
