Kieffer is a big loss but maybe with Wycombe’s bus parking tactics a bit more speed and guile will come up trumps.

I’d put Brown and Woodrow together up front with Green and Thiam supporting. Bahre to come on later to vary things a bit.

Brown is flying at the moment so deserves the chance to play in his original position from youth team days.

The issue at Wycombe away was that they sat in their own half and then pushed us out wide whenever we attempted to attack; effectively nullifying any pressure.

I wouldn’t be averse to playing a lightning quick front line to try to stretch their defence, but ultimately in Stendel we trust- I’m sure he’ll do the right thing

Bahre in for Moore for me....play him just behind Woodrow. Leave Brown/Thiam where they are given they are doing a cracking job at the minute.

    Brown up front for me

Green or Bahre in as well - not sure - be happy with either

Same here. We're playing some really good football at the minute and Brown has been fantastic wide. Let him cause chaos there and have Bahre just behind to try and find space and use a bit of guile. I think we've looked decent without Moore at times, so a less static striker may pull them out of position a bit more.

Bahre for me also. Although I wouldn't be surprised if dougall came in and cam was pushed further forward. Wouldn't be my choice though.

I wouldn’t call Moore static - he can motor along quite nicely and he never sticks to one position. I can see the benefits of having Bahre playing off Woodrow but I do worry about his lack of goals output. That will come eventually but we need early goals on Saturday to upset their game plan.

Whoever plays should ensure another three points. Now we’re top two I don’t want us dropping out of it

Best thing about it is that if we don't know who's going to play, Wycombe won't either!

He's got mobility, but he gives the opponent a target to mark with his back to goal. That's easier to mark than clever movement. Movement pulls teams and entails hand over of players from one marker to another. I think Brown on the right has helped this massively as he can join in and form a 3, or stay wide and aim to get delivery in. Great spring in the air too.

I've not as much issue with Bahre with just the one goal so far. he tends to be less selfish than the others but he has a lot of guile to his game and great awareness. Happy for him to get 5 assists and no goals if he helps unpick the negative teams.

Bahre in the free-roaming Messi role for me. His guile will tire them out (and hopefully leave them on their jacksi again) then young Green can come on and really put them to the sword.

I'd keep brown on the wing where he has been effective I'd play Woodrow upfront with bahre just off him. Kieffer is a loss but we have goals all over the team. Thiam, mowatt, brown, mcgheen, Woodrow all have chipped in this season.

Dont agree with the OP - Brown and Thiam are just doing fine as they are. For me its Its a straight choice between starting with Adeboyejo if Stendell thinks its worth a go or putting Bahre in - Id go for Bahre but am hardly an expert
There is the option of playing Dougall and moving McGeehan forwards - but I dont like that as the midfield seems to be working just fine. Make the minimum changes for me - which is just replace Moore and leave everyone else alone

Our key player at the moment is Alex Mowatt. If he continues to demonstrate that confidence and even arrogance we will beat anyone. I think he’ll play Dougall McGeehan and Mowatt with Thiam Woodrow and Brown. Cavare to get a hat trick!!

I'd go with the as little change as possible theory and put Victor in for Kieffer. I think DS will think the same but go with Bahre not Victor.

The more I think about it I agree with you. No need to change two or three - just bring one in for Kieffer. Not sure Victor is ready for a start but he is good for the last 20 mins or so if we need that different option.

I expect Akinfenwa to be playing tomorrow so it will be interesting to see the contrasting styles
