FA considering the bid, which would mean England get kicked out for 5+ games per year in favour of American Football. Poll above for your thoughts. Fulham wouldn't move there, this is for a London-based NFL franchise.
Nice stadium, but in an absolute ****-pit of a location. If they were going to keep the Twin Towers, I'd have understood them building it there, but once they'd scrapped that plan, there was absolutely no reason whatsoever for it. National stadium should be in a national location. Accessible to all without having to venture into that dump of a location.
Totally agree... The national football stadium should be centrally located. This new Wembley doesn't feel like the national stadium at all.
When the FA bid for the World Cup 2018 building three new Stadiums in Birmingham, Shitfield, and Liverpool should have been it’s selling point, Instead they tried to do it on the cheap, using the stadiums we already have. If they’d have gone down the route of football bringing cities together, building two stadiums of 50,000 capacity in Birmingham & Meadowhall and a 65’000 in Liverpool then after the World Cup they rented them to the football clubs of that city and held concerts there they would have been quids in for years, and I’m pretty sure all six clubs would have bought into this at the time.
Wembley is part of the history of English football just like Hampden Park is to Scotish football, it will not be long before everything in this country is owned by foreign owners and theres me thinking we've got our country back
No way would any of those six clubs want to sell away their own ground to rent a ground they have to share, with the team they hate the most.
