Full match replay on Player

I'm pleased with how quickly they are putting them online so far this season. The commentary courtesy of Matt is great too!

 

I'm watching it now, it's free to view so even non-Player subscribers can watch it. As you say, great to here the commentary from Matt.

Dearly wish he could get back on the to the commentaries, but judging by his comments on Facebook it seems very unlikely.

 

It says I have to login although I may soon sign up now the commentators are back.

 

Good that they are putting so much "free to view" stuff online. If that can't convince more people to sign up to Player I don't know what will.

So many seem to concentrate on the commentary situation, and as they are often free to listen to on the radio what is the point in paying the 70 odd pence a week that Player costs. Well the obvious retort to that is that we are NOT always on the radio and there is a lot of video content that is well worth looking at.

It's just a personal opinion but I think the service is brilliant, especially for those who live away. It's still worth it if you live in the town and I presume that the club make money out of it the more of us that are subscribers.

 

Go to the home page http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/ and scroll down (it's well hidden) until you see a small window with the video in it. Just below that there are 2 links, 1 for each half. You can click on those to view. It works even if you're not a subscriber - I'm not and I'm watching it now.

Just to clarify, Matt is not commenting live, only on the full match replays, so don't sign up just for that reason.
