Is this the end of Corbynism and the Militant sect? This bunch have purged the party of any moderate view and moved it to the left of where the voters want to be. Have they learned a lesson? Problem is that the leadership voting system delivered Corbyn and gave the Tories the leg room for their own outlandish policies and ultimately gave us this result. Will it give us another unelectable leader?
Chances are it will - and Corbyn wants to oversee it. I don't know how many times people need to see it, but Labour can't win from the left of centre. And if they don't win, they can't do anything. An old cliché, but 'politics is the art of the possible'.
I think I saw where Labour is going on the 6.30 evening news. A bloke asked another chap how he’d voted. I had to replay it because I just couldn’t believe what I had heard. He asked if the other guy had voted conservative or boris, the lad answered “ conservative “ “ I voted boris, get things done is the message “ CONSERVATIVE OR BORIS?? WTF!!
