having met Mr Ainsworth I can assure you he is a top bloke..... he is passionate about what he does and his team, nowt wrong with that IMHO
He was waving his arms at every decision all game even minor ones. Towards the end could see him trying to get a reaction from stendal came across as a **** today.
Delighted with what we got, but would have been happy with him as our manager going into this season. Seems a nice and passionate guy to me.
Ha ha. You’ve got to be kidding. If I was forced to watch the garbage that are Wycombe weeek in week out, i’d stop going. He produces dull boring hardworking sides that take all the joy out of football. Thank God we didn’t appoint him. And that interview? Deluded.
That mirrors exactly what I've heard about him. Only good things. Can't see how he can question our penalty though!
Fair summary In fairness to him, player for player we are streets ahead and his tactics of trying to keep them in the game worked pretty well. They made it really hard for us first half to get in behind them
The sending off is a proper comedy incident. McGeehan's challenge was absolutely awful and well worth a booking. But for the Wycombe player to then get himself sent off for hair pulling?! That's quite embarrassing.
It does beg the question as to whether he would have stayed on the pitch if McGeehan didn’t have such an outrageously bouffant hairstyle I knew that it would help us at some point this season
I'm home Hi love, how was your day? Rubbish. We lost. Oh dear. And I got sent off! Why!? One of their players was mean to my best friend so I pulled his hair. Never mind love, I'll make your favourite for your tea. Spaghetti hoops? Yes love Spaghetti hoops.
He does well with what he's got to work with. Wycombe haven't got our budget or scouting network. They were never going to come to our fortress and beat us at our own game. They didn't shame themselves and over the two games against them are probably the side that's given us the most problems. I think he's a good young manager and will get his chance at some point to boss a championship level club.
