A bit of encouragement in seeing him today. He wasn't the best by any stretch but he did want the ball and was involved.

He's in front of Mowett as things stand for me.

He needs games now to stake a claim an d be ready for next season.

Moncur was unfairly treated after his performance against Villa and whoever we played at home the following week, the game I personally thought he was man of the match.

Mowatt played alright today but agree, Moncur is in front of me for me as well.

I thought moncur made a difference as well. And agree it was strange to drop him when he had just had his best game for us. not sure if he is in next seasons plans but if he is I should start a few more matched

I thought Mowatt was very poor. Seen very little to be encouraged by from him so far I'm afraid.

Looked pretty good when he came on. I would start him ahead of Mowatt.

Kent also had a very good second half. The skill to get away from two players on the halfway line by the East Stand was sublime. Also beat several players before pulling a great ball back at 1-1.

I agree that Moncur should start.

    I'm not commenting on Kent

That skill was outrageous. Thought both wingers had good games today. Got on the front foot and were direct. Also agree with Redstar about Moncur. There's clearly some potential there, although there were some blokes behind me slating him every time he touched the ball demanding Hecky took him off. Despite the fact we'd used all 3 subs

Thought he did reasonably well....looks a good footballer but needs a bit more bite . We put it into Conor , let's hope we can do the same for him .

I was also encouraged by moncur played some nice balls and some decent touches. Didn't think mowett played bad either just my opinion though.

Think they forgot to tell Moncur which way we were kicking. Still not impressed. Wonder what the OPTA stats are for Kent Shitting art of tackles, shurley must be highest in division.

If Ryan Kent was as direct as he was in the last 5 minutes today all the time, he'd be a fantastic player. Sadly he often insists on cutting back 7 times before attempting a cross. I sometimes wonder if he doubts his own ability. He needs to be a bit more decisive in the final third. That first time turn and shot against Leeds is proof of his ability, if only he was more consistent in doing it.

I've been disappointed with Mowatt to be honest. I thought it was a great signing at the time but he has flattered to deceive a little. Maybe a proper run of games would do him good too, but as said above, in that particular role, I think Moncur should be ahead of him. Moncur's goal record at Colchester in that role Mowatt played today was exceptional.

Leet weight; if he'd half as much commitment as Scowan, Angus, or Hammill he'd be worth a start and may be have a future at BFC. While ever he's not prepared (or able) to bust a bollock for the cause he's not worth the shirt.
Soft as 5hit, Luxury Laiker; no room for such a leet weight when we're next season's Rotherham.
