Altercation with Akinfenwa on the subs benches. Think he started on the wrong person. Even the FA can't chalk this red card off to help them. Hope some video footage of it becomes available.
hope it does not... then the FA have to take the ref's decision, they will have no evidence to refute it then.
Why on earth would you even get remotely involved in a bust-up with Akinfenwa? There’s only one winner there..... TBH, I’ve a lot of time for the guy. Came up through the leagues and at 36 is still playing. Yeah, he’s a big unit, but the fact he still wants to play is fair enough. Random - If you look at his stats, he can bench-press over 200kg. Which means that although he does carry some weight, some of that is decent muscle.
The guy is an enigma. Doesn't take himself too seriously, especially off the field. Always been a decent player at this level. I believe he's nearing 200 goals in the football league?
im hearing sunderland are apealing the honeyman srnding off and very cobfident they will get it over ruled.
Yeah, that’s what I like about him. Scored 17 last season, and 4 this season (started a lot less games). He ain’t a mug. You don’t score 17 in L2 if you’re ****.
Jack Ross has said they will view the video footage of the incident and then decide whether it is worth an appeal. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.su...er-of-missing-checkatrade-final-1-9640646/amp
It would be nice to be priced wiring, but just watch them appeal against it. AND EVIN it, even fekin worse !!!!
Have just watched it and I will be surprised if they don’t appeal it and it gets overturned just cos it’s Sunderland.
Maybe, if they overturn the refs decision on that one you would have to ask questions clearly violent conduct and the Wycombe player is also sent off.
You what ? What the flip is priced wiring? AND EVIN? I've just had a pint of home brew cider and can't make head nor tail of this.
