That's the reason he was farmed out last season, he refused to adapt.

Well, he thought he ought to walk straight into his side. Or his daddy did. So they setup the loan to Peterborough and off he went despite the then Head Coach wanting him to stay

At the end of the day if he cared enough he wouldn't be overweight and unfit. He's a talented lad, and would be a real asset if he was fit but he's not. If you start him you know you've got to use a substitute on 70 minutes or he'll be next to useless for the last 20 minutes because he's knackered.

And the responsibility for that lies solely with George Moncur. Whether it's a lack of effort in fitness training, an awful diet or a mixture of both it's absolutely unprofessional and indefensible to be in the shape he's in. People wouldn't defend a doctor who can't be arsed to read a patient's medical history properly or a fireman too fat to get up a ladder.

I'm not sure about that to be fair. There's a few others in the squad who tire (or get cramp) in the latter stages of games. I think there's an element of responsibility on the shoulders of the back room staff, dieticians etc. I can't remember a side where so many players tire so soon. I'm baffled by it and I think we would have picked up a few more points I'd we were fitter, and we'd now be safe.

Fitness was such a big part of the team's success a couple of years back. Not only meant they could run and run for 90+ minutes, but also led to far fewer injuries and a more settled starting XI. Whoever was looking after that side of things was getting summat right; not sure why things have deteriorated so quickly.

I have literally pissed myself. You are comparing Moncur to Le Tissier?

Where are my clean y-fronts? Oh mother of God.

I think if you stuck a firework up Moncur's arse & put him on for the last 10 minutes of a match, he may just about run the length of the field.

The lad has talent, but no heart, application or nouse.

Tripe ! In the Sheff Utd game in the first 20 minutes he had more touches of the ball than every player (ours & theirs) on the pitch and ran the game Only problem was he only lasted an hour.

Great, we just need to get Fifa to alter the match length from 90 minutes to 20.

Le Tissier 209 goals in 541 games (all in the top flight).

George Moncur 4 goals in 28 games in the second flight & a great top knot.

LOL. I'm still urinating. Certainly someone is pulling my pisser.
