What a great game so far!
    .
Very impressed with Mexico - so refreshing to see how they break and attack at pace. Hope to see a bit of that at Oakwell again next season.

And the referee is having a great game too, not being conned by players diving

Mexico thoroughly deserve their lead. Tactically, they look superior to their opposition and don't
seem remotely bothered that they are playing the current World Champions.

Love to watch football like this - pressing game and break with pace

Yes, that's how to play pressing football. If we could play that style (at obviously a lower level quality wise), would be good to watch, like the promotion team we had. We'll need a more mobile strike for to do it & a much fitter squad.

Really entertaining game. You never bet against the Germans though, 45 mins to go!

Like how Mexico leave 3 up front when defending , counter attacking with pace . Good game

Is that Phil Neville on the commentary? So annoying, that overly excited voice every time he talks.

I hope Mexico hang on for the win. They were great first half, pressing absolutely everything and countering with so much pace.

Second half they’ve had to sit back a little bit but increased German pressure was always going to come.

    Reight game of football that.

Shows how hard it is to play that style for 90 mins though.

So if the Germans now finish 2nd in the group they've likely got Brazil.

Yes, so annoying isn't he. My highlight of his commentary was when Mexico hit he ball quite wide and whilst watching the replay (so no excuse if miss reading it first time) he says "over the bar". Over what ******* bar you utter clown?

Great game though, Mexico look like they'd beat anyone on their day

And arguably easier route to semis by finishing 2nd in our group

I enjoyed "Mexico won that first half for me" with it been 1 0 and all.

Yes Mexico looked good, really tried to take the game to Germany when they could.

First time in my lifetime I can remember such a poor Germany team. I didn't have them down as one of my picks as a possible winner, but I didn't realise they were this bad. Would even fancy our chances against them if we meet. Lucky to not lose three or four nill.

I took a punt on mexico last week as world cup winners at 80/1
Could well be a decent cashout
