I watched the Liverpool v Everton match last night & watched as the Everton goalkeeper , a current English international , came charging off his line to deal with a cross , subsequently made a pigs ear of it which resulted in a winning goal for Liverpool , now my point is, that recently Davies got pelters on here for doing the complete opposite , which again resulted in a goal . At the time, I came to his defence & said that if a goalkeeper makes an error , he gets punished & a goalkeeper of the highest standard like Pickford also proved that point. I wonder if on the Everton forums, the lad took stick or they chose to cut him some slack , I hope it was the latter , no one makes mistakes on purpose
