Think it's a bit early to conclude we're definitely going down. Three big games coming up and with mcburnie and isgrove playing amd a new manager we might just stand a chance of getting a couple of wins. Think we'll have a very good idea of where we stand at the end of the month.
Won’t we have to ditch most of our squad like we did last time to meet the financial rules in place in L1?
Who knows? I guess it all depends if sponsorship deals an be put in place that make SCMP less of a worry
Isn’t it wages can’t be more than 60 percent of turnover? Its that element I’m talking about. So if turnover goes down by 5-6 million I’d presume we would have to have a clear out.
70 isn’t it? So unless we can increase turnover transfer income is irrelevant unless structured payments are permissible
http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/scmp.php It’s 60 and I’m not sure transfer fees would be any use either way.
Last time we had to get COG and cranie before we could sign anyone. Hammill is our biggest earner i hear so I'd imagine his extension wouldn't be used. Maybe get some no10s off our books and we will be okay.
Neither do I to be honest apart from age being on his side and his obvious potential. Jackson was better than him at the start of the season before he got injured.
SCMP rules also include the following paragraph. Relegated clubs The rules apply to all clubs and there is no moratorium for clubs relegated from the Championship. However, Transitional Arrangements are in place whereby clubs are allowed to exclude the wage costs of all players that the club signed pre September of the relegation season, if they were signed on contracts in excess of 3 seasons.
I don’t think that applies to anyone we have on the books this time though I believe we could exclude a couple last time.
