    "camit at that lever"?

Is he hanging on hoping to be Stanley Unwin's replacement instead?

Bet he wouldn’t have made that comment had you been on about Rec. The anti-Shaw Lane stuff has become boring now.

It's getting a little bit of a piss take this forum now.

Out of 2 comments one points out my dislecsia disability and the other nob bits in with a comment that makes him look slightly contradictory when looking back at his posts he hardly post about BFC

Why? We don't like the owner, he doesn't like us. You ever see the stuff he posted when he was a regular on Owlstalk? Its quite funny now, they can't go much further, they haven't got the support so he'll have to move his team to Sheffield.

Maybe it's because Grant came through the Oakwell Academy. He's a Wombwell lad.

The BBS has never been, and hopefully never will be, a place for purely Barnsley Football Club issues. To me, that is one of it's main strengths over the years and sets it apart from websites of others clubs. Other issues such as for example politics, religion, social matters, personal situations, have always found a home on here. Long may that continue.
However, Shaw Lane does generate heated debates due to the owner's attitude, comments in the past and how it's conducted it's affairs. To pretend these problems don't, or shouldn't, exist is somewhat self defeating.

The BBS is also a room for opinions and views.
A football club is a hell of a lot more than an owner!
I for one don't like the little runt for other personal reasons but I like to see local teams do well and I'd love for this team to go far.
This forum is getting very bitter and sometimes uncomfortable to be a member or and with some of the bullying and unwelcome comments that arise I fear it's only a matter of time that the numbers will drop.

I completely agree. I’ve seen some horrendous threads and individual posts of late and it always seems to be the same individuals either posting or condoning the odious content.

As for the OP, despite not being a fan I’m always interested to read about SLA and I do hope that they continue to make progress and rise through the leagues. I think it would be fantastic for the town to have two established clubs and I think that we could really make their success work to our advantage by sending youngsters on loan, etc.

The numbers that post on the BBS have dropped significantly in the last few years, mostly because of one or two posters that are pains in the arris !!
