I do like it when Oakwell is referred to as a "proper ground". Mainly cos it is one.

Surely there's a case for making that stand a listed building. #semiserious

"Hair ruffling". You've got to laugh. Even from the other side of the ground you could see he grabbed Cam's hair so roughly that he yanked the player backwards. Other team's players would have thrown themselves to the ground in agony so credit our lad for at least not over-reacting.

Whether that should be a red card offence is debatable but they deserved at least one red for their tactics throughout. The referee was far too lenient with them.

That’s how I saw he yanked his head back .
There’s been sendings off for far less deliberate contact than that .
The ref as the whole ground saw it . It was stupid by their player and that’s where their fans should concentrate .
Credit to Cameron for not making an issue of it.

The reason the ground looks so good in that video is you can't see the West Stand. Oakwell doesn't look nearly as good from either of the other three stands when the West Stand forms part of the view. I'm as sentimental about the club and the ground as anyone, but that stand is tired.

A new one in a similar style with modern facilities and no posts would look cool though.

    Agree with you there .
Who was the old bloke years back used to write in the chronicle about his view if the game and always finished off by saying something about his seat behind one of the posts .
It used to be really funny but can’t think of him for the life of me but that’s normal these days alas

What would have been good is as the camera focused on the empty east stand the seats were arranged into a copycat of the Cryne/Preedy flag .
