£300k supposedly spent on what exactly?!
Well it certainly wasn't spent on paint or paying the electricity bill to turn the TVs on.
Have you noticed the west stand roof? Complete new one I think.
It's the same roof, they've just removed the two end walls and replaced them with bright red cladding
Seats still accy pa system back to its usual muffled self, business as usual. Basically we`ve got yer money nar feckin lump it yet again. Caring club my arse.
PA system in the ponty is a joke..
Problem is the custodian dunt gi' a chuff about supporters or the match day experience.
Jesus wept! Do you ever, ever, EVER have anything positive to say?
Ok, might be wrong. check it out Tues.
Failed to develop the stadium for years. Dropping to bits compared to Huddersfield.
I didn't think it could get any worse than last season but I was proven wrong today. You literally cannot hear a word that is being said.
Is the West Stand back to full capacity now?
There is no doubt stuff needs replacing, refurbishing or upgrading but I would far rather we spent what money we have on the squad. You can't have it every which way.
It would be nice to have it at least one way though right?
If it can be it wasn't today
Out of interest, what do you want in terms of matchday experience? I'm intrigued, as my matchday experience is fine.
Er, yeah, but we aren't spending it on the squad.
No idea, but the TV gantry looks absolutely awful.
Whoever erected (hehe) that 'new' gantry should be charged with impersonating a builder. It is ghastly
To answer the O/P, this is what I was told last week when I was at the club
New executive mezzanine floor in East Stand, new bookies area in East, new signage around the club, (with more to come - including a new BFC crest for Ponty end), all pitches re-seeded, gantry made safer, west stand gables done. Paintwork done.
That's all I can remember.
Why do I suspect that the vast vast majority of that money has been spent on the executive area.
