    Thanks for that - just wondered. We could have maybe looked at doing something - Liverpool had land near the ground which is now going to house a new club shop and a hotel.

    I know we aren't as big but I just wondered if we ever looked into anything

    Patrick should have bought a corner of that land to allow Grove Street to be pushed over into that area so the area the West Stand stands on can be squared off if ever developed.
    You can see what I mean if you look at aerial views of the ground.

    It's going to have a 30 screen multiplex cinema on it. Our head town honcho, sure Steve is in negotiations as I type this, just so he can trump the other councillors who want one in the town centre...
