So you really are incapable of offering me any courtesy. You're right, we really should leave it there.
Why not just catalogue your list of facts and figures instead of telling people to do their own investigations . Unless of course you are talking ******** .
Because I don't care what you think. If you believe we've spent as much as we've brought in, good luck to you. But don't become a maths teacher.
More to the point which ******** (Thordasun) allowed him to play against us. Wasn't pleased with his goal celebrations but nowt compared to winnals.
Whatever else it’s clear that over the last few years we have taken about 20 million from transfer fees and spent about a third of that. We sit in a dilapidated ground with no improvement in facilities or match day experience. Match Day tickets are eye wateringly expensive and we have made zero attempt to attract new fans through ticketing promotions.
Nope. If you don't already acknowledge that the money we received when John Stones moved from Everton to Man City, plus the money we received from the transfers of Mawson, Roberts, Hourihane, Winnall, Holgate, Macdonald, Bree (all of which were widely reported) is substantially more than what we've spent on transfers and wages (even without the TV money we receive) then me posting a load of links isn't going to change your mind. I care about Barnsley FC. I care that the millions we've brought in hasn't been spent on the club. I care that seemingly we're skint. If you don't that's fine. If you care more about the reputation of someone I haven't named, primarily because I have no idea where the money has gone, that's fine. But don't say I'm talking ballacks, because even a cursory interest in our recent history demonstrably illustrates that's not the case. You haven't just got to bury your head in the sand to be unaware of this, you've got to dig a 50 foot pit and immerse yourself in concrete. And I'm not wasting my time pointing you in the direction of things you already know just because you refuse to acknowledge it.
Will anyone with a good knowledge of Barnsley FC's Ballance sheets please put this one to bed. I think the running costs have been slightly overlooked.
Looked at em jay and to be honest some things I understand , most not. So was looking for someone to put it in laymans terms . For example policing costs I didn't recognise anywhere.what I did recognise were donations made by Patrick Cryne. But as I say not being an accountant. I may misunderstand a lot. Don't know if figures relate to assets worth or hard cash.
Either serious fraud going on or that money is all accounted for. Personally I doubt there is fraud going on, I think running our club with player wages as they are has accounted for it all. There is no money to be made in football unless you are in the elite top 5 or 6.
To just add to the where has all the money gone point , if a club makes let's say 2 million profit on a player sale is that profit subject to VAT ? If so it may explain why if Barnsley sell a player for 2 million , they can't automatically go out and buy a player for 2 million with no net loss . The transfer may also be subject to capital gains tax , signing on fees , agent fees etc .
I would assume that vat is payable on fees, as they are a revenue item. No CGT as they are revenue items and don't appear on a balance sheet, or classed as depreciating items, the players aren't considered assets (think they may have been many moons ago, but don't treat that as gospel).
