    • Adam Hammill has taken 62 shots in league games this season, the most of any player yet to net a single league goal.
    • In fact, Hammill has also created more chances for team-mates without registering a single league assist than any other player in the Championship this season (54).

    possibly indicates how poor the finishing has been from certain teammates.

    he did get an assist at preston but for some reason it's not on any of the stats

    ...it was against Sheff U. Hammill hit a cross come shot that the keeper parried into McB's path to tap home. I thought that would class as an assist?

    Another example of why spreadsheets should only be a minor tool when scouting and recruiting players. Statistics on paper are not the be-all and end-all for a game that is played on grass
