If he is interested - then it's solely down to one thing IMO - and that is, like I've said in a previous post .......
LACK OF COMMUNICATION FROM POTENTIAL NEW OWNERS
Must be reight if Sunderland Echo says so eh?
Guesswork and speculation at best.
Marble, empty can,
Do these pathetic comments come naturally or do you have to work at it ?
'Author' is Leeds scum, sh!t-raking based on no evidence whatsoever.
If Hecky goes i blame you.
Some people, who think Nudgers posts are shi.te, get really really upset and annoyed if there is any chance that there might be a bit of truth in them.
a. Journalists make things up when they don't have any facts to base their story on
b. Hecky is bound to be considered for a job like that, but would be unlikely to get it (not being a big enough name for such a MASSIVE club)
c. Their fans would hate the idea of going down the same route as with Grayson, who also did a decent job in the lower leagues and got Preston established at second division level. Therefore Hecky would be up against it from the start - fail to turn results round and the crescendo of boos would start getting to him.
d. If he goes then good luck to him. If they are offering him an obscene amount of life-changing money he would be silly to turn it down.

is absolutely breathtaking. Forget the 7th in the Premier League stuff of Reid's days just look how far and fast we've dropped from the end of the Allardyce reign.
We've seen the demise over the years of some great old clubs at the hands of "dodgy" owners-the Oystons at Blackpool, the Russian fraudster at Portsmouth and the Venkys at Blackburn, the whole Rangers saga but Short is surpassing all of that lot in his inability to manage a football club.
No money, falling crowds, corporate sales gone to hell, binning the ladies team, relegation zone and we're trying to attract a manager from...Barnsley.
Take a bow Shorty lad. This is epic.

Church, Tokyo Optician, Phantom of mobs and 24 others like this.
Ha what a non-story with absolutely no basis whatsoever.
What truth? What's he privy to that we don't know about?
Plus - Sunderland is going to take along time to turn around - and unless it's a big name in football then the fans won't allow for many defeats.
If Hecky did get the job, and let's hope to God that he stays, but if he did get it, he could be sacked within a year.
Again, marble, empty can.
No "could" about it. I doubt he would last the season UNLESS he really is The Messiah
He's 80-1 for Everton job - be afraid, be very afraid!
One thing tho ........ no one can accuse me of not having owt to say - or not having the ability to keep a discussion going.
