Still aiming for 4 but these things take time? Completely different to what got said on Monday. Odd stuff.
May have felt on Monday it was only a formality but since then some finer details may need settling before any announcement can be done ?
It's nothing to do with "finer details". The club intentionally sets out to annoy and alienate fans by promising signings that aren't really going to happen.
One of the four potential signings has been "dangling for a long, long time". Can only assume that's McBurnie.
I could understand that if we were talking about 1 signing hitting a snag. But all 4 "virtually done" deals taking this long seems very strange to me.
I agree Mateo hopefully like I've said it could just be very minor details and they'll all be announced today and tomorrow, make their debuts on Saturday and we win 4-0
If I was an agent who just heard the club brag about nearly finishing the transfer in public, I'd know that I can make more excessive demands because the club doesn't want to look stupid.
How does that work exactly Imagine an exact scenario I went through last time I bought a car Agreed a trade in value for my car Agreed a price for new car - so I was close to buying a car Garage then "realised" it had overvalued my old car and would only offer me a price £1000 less than I had been told by same garage a couple of days earlier. So I walked away from the deal ( 2 hours later got a call from the Manager who somehow managed to find a way in the interests of good customer relations ... loads of waffle ... and I got the car for what I originally thought I had agreed. - I nearly still walked away but decided as I did want the car I'd still take it ) Based on your knowledge of how Cryne operates do you really think if someone tried to change a deal at the last minute when we thought terms were agreed we would go ahead. Agent looks pretty silly if a deal then falls through
