    Number one choice according to Daily Star and if true nobody could blame him bettering himself with a former club. But for us it would be terrible as we are already enough in the **** off the field.

    if hecky goes dark times loom. We will pay the price for what happened in January big time. Blew our best manager in years and a shot at the play offs for a couple of million while most on here grinned huge greasey smiles

    Would be a good move.an ambitious club fir an ambitious manager. Whether he would want to uproot family etc is a different matter.

    He probably will be able to pay it off with the money from Norwich & buy a house down there as well.
    The difference in money will be eye watering.

    Obviously I pray he's not their choice, but if he is, it would be a no brainer.
    Strong squad, parachute payments & a pretty well run club, who gave Alex Neil a good crack of the whip after relegation to be fair.

    I'll get out my mat & pray to the West, to quote Mr Weller.

    On the other hand you have to wonder whether their board would be willing to go for "lower league experience" again. Seeing as they are Premier League by rights and are only on loan to the second division, surely they would be looking for someone with a top flight or European background.

    They tried the cheap option with Alex Neil - no illustrious playing or managing credentials behind him. Hecky is a great fit for us but would he do as well at Norwich? If he goes I wish him all the luck in the world and maybe, just maybe, it might open the door for the return of the Messiah (currently having a rough-ish time at Portman Road).

    I was being ironic - sorry if you missed that. I was only suggesting that they and their fans feel that they don't belong down in the second division so they might want a Premier League manager next, rather than another experiment.
