Nothing from him overnight and Claps done the prematch. Seriously hope he’s just busy sorting his new contract out..
That's about as convincing as Jamie's comments about McDonald (although I believe we've done the right thing there).
I reckon hecky was dodging the bullet ...on why McDonald really left...Training ground My Ar5e ...lol
Sounds like we’ll hear from both Hecky and GG in depth over the next week. Been a busy period for them.
Given Hecky's past justifiable expressions of concern about how we've been doing our business, it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that he wanted to see how this window went before deciding on committing further ahead to the club. No-one can doubt his loyalty, but equally, no-one would deny that Hecky is, and should be ambitious. When you take Mr Lee's comments in the Forbes article (helpfully cited in another thread) together with our activity in this window, Hecky must surely be pleased with what he sees. We appear to have strengthened all three areas of the pitch whilst (as Mr Conway would say) not doing anything crazy. Some people feel we already weren't far away from having a team capable of surviving. I hope that this may mean that Hecky and his representative were engaged in Gauthier's office yesterday sorting out the next piece of the jigsaw.
I reckon it was to do with Angus leaving. I hope the radio Sheffield interviewer asks Hecky post match or next week
