    ..if the current trend is the team only 'turning up' for one half of an away match, perhaps the club could consider reimbursing all those fans who loyally travel, at great expense, to support them , half their travel and ticket costs. They could fund this from only paying the players half their match wages for the week. Just a thought!

    Let's be fair, it's hardly impressive to player better once you are a few goals behind. It's fairly common in football. So when I read the manager (or any manager) saying we 0layed better 2nd half I often think it's meaningless.
