barnsleyfc @bfc_official 42s Flitcroft signs new deal to remain as Barnsley manager. Mellon and Scott also to stay at Oakwell http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/flitcroft-signs-new-reds-deal-100513-817286.aspx
Will sign shortly, yet he's signed? I want to see a copy of the contract signed in blood before I believe it.
Great news in more ways than one. Not only have we secured the services of a great manager (and top bloke) and his backroom team, but we now know that the board must have agreed to his conditions, which all revolve around taking us forward. So we have a management team and a board that are positive and looking upwards, so lets hope the fans do the same. Time to resurrect the Stronger Together banner (but maybe find someone better than Goughie to be on there), because it is certainly starting to feel like that. On another note, it will also be good for our eyesights, as we spent all of April refreshing the league table on our computers in case some extra points materialised from somewhere, or doing and re-doing the Championship predictor until we were satisfied with the outcome, and we've spent the last week refreshing the official site waiting for good news! We can finally tear ourselves away from our computers. I am heading to the pub!
If in Feb 2014, things are not going to plan and we are struggling, I hope the fan base will show as much dignity, positivity and down right decency as David Flitcroft and his management team have shown over the last few months. These men have earned the right to the fans patience and understanding.
Re: James G and Super Tyke From the man who slated Robins weeks before he even took the job. Abart reight that.
