U21s tournament, 0-0 draw with Sweden.

I hope this means more money coming into Oakwell. Nice to see the lads doing well.

Why would we get more money for today?

I'm sure Cryne has said that we received money when one of them made their under-21 debut. Pretty sure it was Holgate.

They both have caps previously to today though.

May be further clauses after x amount of caps, though. I'm not saying it is, but just adding to what the OP may be getting at.

Still expecting the second signing that you mentioned?

I haven't heard anything to suggest otherwise. I was told McCarthy and Mcaleny by the end of the week. Things change though as we've seen with our interest in Oxfords target who was almost a done deal.

Can only assume McAleny is one of the players mentioned lined up to sign early next week. Good signing, if it comes off.

He's done well recently at Oxford and Wigan, and was highly rated at Everton.

All players have different starts to their careers. We signed Roberts, aged 24, having never played a game above non-league level, and he's done very well for us.
