Honestly thought the club would have said something today

If he dosent make valid points - THEN IGNORE IT.
But don't throw snide remarks or abuse because you didn't like what was said.
There was someone posting under the name of thereev a few months ago.
He posted 100s of posts.
I think I read TWO of them.
But I didn't sling abuse at him.

 

Excluding thereev - I honestly don't think anyone posts on here to get a reaction.
Their views may be seen as a bit 'left field' - but that's their view and it should be respected.

As for your scenario:
if someone was shouting that it would probably be coming from someone that you knew had 'difficulties'.
You would probably know this person as you are in the same school yard as they are.
An important point this - people who should know better - are slinging abuse at people that they don't know or understand that persons circumstances.

 

Does anybody actually know that HT has 'difficulties'? People speculate a lot but that doesn't make it a fact. I haven't actually seen any abuse of him in this thread, simply people getting extremely frustrated.

I actually agree but that was kind of my point. Speculating and treating somebody different because we assume they may or may not have difficulties is wrong in my opinion. As far as I'm concerned he's just a football fan and should be treated the same as everyone else until such a point where he actually requests special treatment for whatever reason.

Well I think that you are right Archey in that the largely silent majority on here will reckon that the troupe of trolls and the bullies deserve each other.

One troupe leads the officious bystander to question whether they should be allowed free speech because they tend to abuse it.

The other troupe leads the man on the Clapham omnibus to conclude that they have no tolerance for free speech at all

Thank the Lord that there are still reasonable men like me around!

No one is suggesting that Hemsy has 'difficulties'.

 

I posted this a bit ago on another thread where HT was in the mddle of it.
