    Perhaps couldn't happen right now, but wouldn't surprise me if he did a Hammill-like return in the future if he can't find a home where he's loved like he was here

    He will end up at Wednesday, no doubt in my mind about that at all. They're the only club who need a central midfielder and can afford his wages.

    He played and scored last night... Doesn't seem to me that he is being pushed out. Of course some fans will be on his back just like every other player, you only have to read this board to understand that. Think he will be at Villa for the next few years.

    If he did come back who is to say Connor would do well, remember players rarely come back here and have a good second spell. I think Hammill is one of the few who has done well here when coming back.

    Looks like he's doing better than Henry Landsbury. I think Steve Bruce will get hoofed out soon and Hourihane will probably feel a bit isolated. Can't see him coming back t'well though.
