I think Woodrow has already ‘left’
the reds and shouldn’t start on Tuesday, l know he’s probably our best striker but he has been ineffective or disinterested lately, he needs a kick up the proverbial and putting him on the bench gives someone who wants to play for us a chance and at worst Woodrow might just realise that he needs to be selling himself in ‘the shop window’.

I disagree. I think he is still putting himself about, he just needs a goal to get scoring again. It's not the best he's played in his time with us, but even off the pace he's still one of our better players.

He's not playing to his usual standards but if he gets us three goals in the last games they might just be the difference. Personally I wouldn't drop him but I would understand if Struber did.

He's not playing well for whatever reason and should be taken out. However we have nobody to put in his place so he will play.

I don't think playing deep suits him. I'd prefer him up front alongside Chaplin.

He needs to be back on the top of the diamond. He’s always been ineffective as an out and out striker. He always used to come very deep to be effective, but last 4 games he’s been glued up top.

He is our best striker but gets played in midfield. Should be upfront with brown dropping into midfield

I'd be inclined to play him up top with chaplin and bahre at the tip of the diamond?

I think he's trying but our approach play has been hopeless lately, hardly any width, hardly any quality balls into the box, look what happens when we do Chaplin gets on the end of it and scores!

Exactly that, Its not like our strikers are getting loads of chances. The midfield is about as creative as Dawson and Perkins combined, although I'd take either of those at the moment!

That's because he plays mowatt in front of the back four and Ritzmaier on the pitch. 2 midfield positions wasted. Throw in Woodrow playing as a midfielder too and it's game over

Well whatever division we are in next season the midfield needs a complete overhaul. I don't want to see another season with wingers and strikers in midfield, one that can use their right foot would be a bonus aswel.

Certainly no backlash from me. However, I wouldn't drop Woodrow (although he's nowhere near his best form at the moment). In fact, it's my opinion he's only behind Alex Mowatt as Player Of The Season for us. Others think differently, which is fair enough.

Woodrow’s an odd one he rarely plays well - just on his day he’s a great finisher.

There’s no wonder so many think lockdown is a good idea when there’s people daft enough to think Woodrow isn’t a good footballer ffs.

I can sort of see what he means. He isn't a 'good' all round player in the same way that winnall isn't and a lot of other strikers aren't. He's a bloody good goalscorer though and I think he's got a little more to his all round game than winnall has, I just wish he was played in positions to take shots more.

That's not really a criticism of him it's more a criticism of how he's used. A lot of strikers don't look like good footballers in the sense that if you put them deep in midfield they wouldn't be god at making challenges, positioning, crossing or playing good passes but put him anywhere near the goal and he's more likely than anyone else to hit the net
