Nixon has been rather sly there as he previously said that we were in for a player from a London club but were looking to buy as opposed to loan. Now he’s saying that he was a loan target. Oh well, it is what it is. I imagined that we would be interested in Kaikai if we could purchase him but less so if the only option was a loan as both Mahoney and Barnes appear to be potentially available, particularly the latter if Puel doesn’t see him in his first team plans as the only alternative is that he sits in the 23s for the remainder of the season.
