We should be looking to move every one of these players on at earliest opportunity. We would be insane to offer any of them new contracts.
Yeah, but you just wait for a bad result like a rodent waiting for a kill. If we'd won tonight you wouldn't have posted that.
I wouldn't go as far as to say move everyone of them on, but if we were to get promoted I would be dreading what next season would bring with the squad we have
Well it was proper tosh tonight. And tbh it's not been great at home from what I've seen this season so far (missed a few due to hols). If we put a load of effort in early doors, then we pay for it later on. Tonight though we had a bit of puff at the end, but little class. Let's face it - we're in a league below so with the same squad from the league above, we ought to give anyone a good game. But I could pick 4 Plymouth players who I'd swop for 4 of ours, on tonight's performance. No sweat.
Unless we draw a premier league side in the fa cup we won’t lose 5-0 to anybody this season. Doubt we’ll lose any by more than 2. We were terrible tonight but to suggest none of them should be here/offered a new deal is ridiculous. Mowatt would walk into any team in the division on current form, the centre forward has 7 in 10, others will be admired by many clubs.
I'm not sure about all of them but there are a fair few that could go and I personally wouldn't bat an eyelid. Despite our league position some of those on show tonight will never be much more than bang average.
I would have serious doubts that anyone other than mowatt, Moore, Pinnock, Dougall and possibly Cavare would be good enough if we somehow went up. Most of the squad are good enough to be ok in this league. The need for contract extensions may depend on where we finish.

In december 2016 we were bottom of this league & this post would have been thought justified, however fast forward two years & we still complain that we did not tie that group of players down to longer contracts . Food for thought maybe but it is not an easy job getting players contracts right , sometimes it works out sometimes it does not . I personally think you should let the head coach decide who we should try to keep & who we should move on .
Cavare and M'Voto must have the same cultish following. There is some modest entertainment value in trying to fathom out the randomness that must be going on in his head, but some of his actions and decisions over 90 minutes is strange. Numerous times he seemed to be crossing by numbers, irrespective of where people were in the centre.
You can’t compare Cavare to M’Voto, Cavare’s a talented player, he could well have had two assists last nights from brilliant drag backs to Thiam & Adebayejo. Don’t get me wrong he’s pretty raw & is inconsistent but he’s created a lot of chances this season for a right back
