I think I know what the priority is for January...

BUY A NEW FECKIN TEAM.
Old hat, I know, but selling our top scorers last January was a brilliant move.

 

I dunno how much selling / not keeping the rest of the team in January and over the summer helped either.

 

Why not we bring it up every week. Can' beliee we drove him to Wednesday and forced him to go. 0 goals from open play in 7 maybe more than a new team needed

 

Well there is absolutely no danger that this January will be anything like last January.

 

Buy a L1 team get L1 performances. Anyone who couldn’t see this coming a mile off must be blind.

 

We didn' buy league one we bought a few league on league 2 confrance premiership loanees. Hecky signed them all he has to take responsibility. We'e one of the smallest club on the championship we couldn' afford proven championship players simple as that.

We bought a L1 quality team. It was all we could afford. As he would take the praise if things were going well the HC will take the blame if things don’t work. Given he has had his entire team sold out from under him and had the spreadsheet sign him a bang average one most people will give him time and patience. I expect us to get relegated. We are one of the worst teams in the League. If Hecky keeps us up it will be better than any previous achievement.

He has the final say just like lee Jay did just like Wilson did before him. The spreadsheet doesn't force players on hecky. I like hecky and he has done great but he inherited a good side who at the time were on a 7 game winning run. I want him to do well and the club but 1 goal in 7 from open play is piss poor half the time were negative and hope for a draw. We will end up bottom.if it carrys on and next season we will have a squad and club low on confidence and do **** in league one. Preston is a must win.

 

Will offering Hecky a new contract improve results from the current team?
Nah.... no way.
The January window is going to be very, very interesting.... or it had better be !

We have a poor side. We’ve continued to shop in the bargain basement in fact lower than the bargain basement then folks wonder why we have zero quality.

I don’t deny that Hecky has the”final say” but the final say on what level of quality is the more pertinent issue.

Hopefully we can now raise the bar and let him make his choices from better players.

I just hope the new crowd know the size of the task facing us and are ready for it....

Like I said we couldn't afford proven championship players hecky said that himself. Maybe we shouldn' have sold winnall Connor and bree last Jan but they all wanted out and would have been gone now anyway so that' irrelevant. 1 point from a possible 21 is abysmal.

I’m struggling to understand why you are shouting the odds again.

 

Keep this team and we come bottom of the league, cannot see us winning another game if these new billion pound owners don't splash the cash.

 

The main difference is that both Wilson and Johnson were offered the best players in their division at the time. Hecky has been offered the worst.

We are currently not in the bottom 3 with a truly terrible team. If we avoid relegation Hecky will have more than done his job.
