    A decent team would have run a cricket score in the second half when we changed to442

    As jay pointed out the other day we arent capable of it at the moment

    Yep.
    We haven't got the strikers to play 442.
    We looked more than comfortable up to half time.
    System changed to 442 and we looked absolutely shocking.
    As I've been saying for a while now - the club failed in the summer in their attempt to get enough strikers in or enough different strikers in to the club - and this could cost us dearly.
    We are fine in all other departments - it's just the strikers.

    Not sure why the strikers are getting criticism on this thread. Service was *****. Ronaldo himself couldn't have scored upfront for us.

    First half I thought our build up play was fairly decent but in the final third it was really lacking in quality (particularly crosses) apart from the obvious strike.

    Second half just wasn't good at all.
