I'd have brought him on in the last ten minutes. Hammill, who was excellent today, was knackered.

Hedges should have replaced him. Kent has had his chance and blown it, he shouldn't be on the bench with the other options we have

 

I agree with this hedges should have replaced hammill for last ten. Ham mill was great today a breath of fresh air from Kent but tired in the last ten. Hope hammill keeps his place.

 

Sorry to disagree.
Hammill had a decent game today for him in what has been a sobering season.
But his set pieces were non-threatening, and he should have done better when Williams put him clean through.
Both Kent and Hammill generally flatter to deceive.
Every now and then, in true winger tradition, they do summat.
In both their cases, in terms of end product, it's been few and far between.

 

I think the thing is Kents had alot more game time this season with less end product. Hammill hasn't had a decent run.in the team for a long time. Unfortunately Liverpool have dictated that we have to play kent for 75% of games this season.

 

Hammill is far better than Kent. I'll admit that Hammill is wasteful at times (wingers generally are) but he offers so much more than Kent and gets the crowd excited even when things don't come off.

 

Fortunately even if we don't play him for one more second he's already about 75% for the season

 

Good news imo Hamill is a far better player and much bigger threat going forward and helps his full back out more. So should be starting before kent and I think we should blood hedges now we have not alot to play for see what he is about.
