No, it would divide the terraces and likely the dressing room too. I think he burnt his bridges due to the way he left (and the timing).

No, not without Hourihane. In fact, any decent striker would get the same amount of goals, if not more with Hourihane in the side, playing in the role Hecky had him playing.
Winnall was overrated, and I wasn't sad to see him leave, just angry that it was to Wednesday and how it was handled.

It's a very high pitched no. Only upside would he would be able to take part alongside another 499 eunuchs
around the streets of New Delhi in their annual showpiece athletics foot race.
It's called the Indian Knackerless 500.!

This is all down to opinion of course and Im not going into the subject of Norm's funeral etc.
But what Im trying to say here is if we were to sign Winnall again and if his goals did either keep us up in this League or take us up from Lg One..... would we still be so petty that he left us for the Fowls when he did ?

Again I don't care that he signed for them I care about the extraneous circumstances and behaviour surrounding it and so should you

Just to clarify I couldn't care less either way, just wanted to see people's reactions and get some sort of debate going

I wont be told what to say/post etc as long as it stays within board rules.

Yes i would have him back but ONLY on the condition that he wears a full Peppa Pig outfit for each game, changed his name via deed poll to Sammy the Pork Faced Snake Rat, and gets on all 4's and Oinks after each goal. Not too much to ask really considering.

Absolute 100% no from me. Would'nt be the same player without Hourihane anyway. Plus The man's a 1st class lovely person.

    No.

I don't know the full circumstances of his departure, so I don't judge him for leaving, or even for joining THAT club.

What I do judge him for is his unprofessional and petulant little paddy in front of the kiddies in the crowd. I laughed at it when he did it. But I can imagine it upset a good few little uns who idolised him. Hecky made light of it saying his daughter was upset by it, but actually she's got a point. He behaved like an 4rsehole

Its never going to happen - he wouldnt want to come back - he clearly wasnt happy here and wanted to leave and I don't think money was the only reason though it was a big one. Also the manner of his departure (even ignoring the crass way he handled Rimmo's funeral) burned his bridges - Neither Cryne or Hecky would have him back even if it was on a free.
But to answer the original question - no I wouldn't want him back even if it was a possibility.
