Aston Villa have agreed personal terms with Henri Lansbury and are expected to complete the signing of the Nottingham Forest captain on Friday. Fellow Championship side Forest are believed to have accepted an offer of about £3.5m for the midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer. Villa boss Steve Bruce said the 26-year-old has already passed a medical. "There is a little bit of paperwork to be done between the two clubs before it is finalised," Bruce said.
£10m if you want the best midfielder outside the premier league. You can of course wait until the summer and take your chance with many others.
plus Lansbury is on 50k a week at forest and won't have taken a pay cut... They can get stuffed - if they want Conor (who is better than Lansbury) they should need to pay £4m.
