I'm a long-time subscriber to Player or whatever else it has been called (over ten years I think). I note that my subscription cannot be automatically renewed now that we call it iFollow so I have just tried to set up a new payment, even though it has gone up by £8 on last season's price. Can I do it? Can I hell!!! What is the MATTER with this pathetic new system that we have got ourselves lumbered with? It will not accept my card/address details. I tried giving them a different card - no joy. So.....what to do? Nothing I suppose. I shall miss the video highlights and match playbacks. I wonder how many other long-term subscribers they are losing?
The price has gone up?! For over 50x less content? (No access to all the other clubs now, whether anyone who subscribed cared or not isn't the point, it's far, far less content offered now than before*). Mine's due for renewal in a week or so, might need to have a think... *I don't mean content offered by BFC, I know we have got better, I mean that they used to give access to almost every EFL club's content, now it is limited to one club only.
It was £37.99. They now want £45. I only know that my subscription has run out because I cannot access anything today (highlights I mean - oddly enough though, I can get the interviews). I WANT to renew but the system will not let me. I wonder how many others are in the same boat?
I'm dreading a renewal or problem cropping up with it. This forum plus ifollow are my link to the club. It seems that ifollow is an utter shambles from what I read and what interaction I've had with it so far has been less than impressive.
Well I've had nothing but praise for the system over the years. It's a Godsend for people living away (like you and I) but this current incarnation is a total shambles. If the club cannot sort it out they will lose all of their subscribers I reckon.
It's $hite. I've cancelled it. I was a big supporter of Barnsley Player as well. Shame. Moneyball will sort it.
I've emailed them ( typically can't speak to anyone) when I've had problems and they've been helpful. My card Expired the other day and I just submitted details of my new card and all was fine again. I have found it frustrating however. Persevere and keep,patient Prince.
