I take it you mean the 6 teams above us, but that’s not necessarily so. Being in a better league position can suggest a few things, including, just being a better unit but rather than having a team full of better individuals. I wouldn’t say that every player at Man City is better than every player at Chelsea. It can also be because of temporary form and the way the fixtures fall.
I don't think anyone has said Eaves is a better player than Moore. The argument seems to be whether Eaves played well against us at Oakwell or not, and some seem to be ignoring the fact that he's the league one top scorer, in a poor team, in favour of judging him on one game. I'd certainly welcome him to Oakwell to help with our cause, but we don't really need him. If I had my way, he would have been here almost 2 years ago, when we had no height or physicality up top. He was at Yeovil then and would have cost very little.
Moore is a great player for us, just frustrating he misses so many chances. His conversion rate can't be very good, but he gets on the end of so many that he still score a impressive enough rate for us. If he took ore of his chances then he would be sold anyway so it's a mixed bag. We all want ou players to improve but if they do they will likely be off.
Moore does a very good job for us unfortunately clinical is not a word you would use when describing him. He misses too many chances to go beyond this level in my opinion.
We've nearly all played each other once and we find ourselves in seventh place with ten wins in twenty one matches, and just two in our last six. The league table doesn't lie. Like you say not every Manchester City player is better than every Chelsea player but most are. Just like the six teams above us have been better over the first half of the season.
I don't think he is a better player than moore from what I've seen of him Moore's ball control and movement are better and hold up play I thought eaves was poor when we played Gillingham if we had signed eaves when he was a Yeovil and we were in the championship the serial moaners would be up in arms "another league 2 gamble" "another under 25" etc. Now he is top scorer and rangers and a few championship clubs are linked we should sign him now...
Yeah he's found his level. The amount of chances he missed last season should have kept us up. He's scored plenty this season but could have had way more. Could have had three yesterday. In the championship it's that tough you might only get one good chance a game to try and put away.
